✨ Yoga ✨

Journey so far…..

As a child, I loved dancing around and creating my own unique stretches in the living room. One day, I discovered a wonderful yoga book that my uncle had tucked away on a shelf, and I was instantly fascinated by the beautiful postures like crow, cobra, and down dog. Although I didn't actively pursue yoga during those early years, it kept finding its way back into my life unexpectedly. I truly believe that yoga exists within all of us, patiently waiting for us to quiet our busy minds and fully embrace its offerings. Its true beauty lies not just in the physical movement of the body, but also in the way it helps us shift and transform our mental and spiritual selves.

When you come to my class, you will experience a wonderfully strong foundation of alignment, but I sincerely hope that you also sweat, laugh, and enjoy a sense of freedom as we practice together. I will gently remind you to breathe, and to breathe deeply. I truly enjoy exploring a variety of poses and flowing movements as we journey through our practice. I am here as your guide to help you gracefully move through each sequence, and my deepest desire is that by the end of our time together, we all find a little more clarity for our everyday lives, because that is truly when you know yoga is doing its work. and the Journey Continues…

I found Unity Yoga Tea House in 2014 and began as an energy exchange (Karma Yogi). In 2016, Sue, the owner, encouraged me to actively teach and sub classes. In 2020, COVID and a big rent increase pushed Unity Yoga online until June 2022. Other studios closed, and I missed the in person studio vibe. In 2023 I found Casa Copal and felt that home studio energy again. I was looking into another teacher training, and six months later Casa Copal offered a Bhakti Yoga Teacher Training. I signed up in 2024 and spent four months in yoga, ceremony, mantra, and good company.

The journey still continues…
